However, I have finally decided to free myself from a stressful assignment, from the thoughtless people and from the miseries. It's time to liberate myself! And I came out of it with a beautiful perspective outlined in my horizons. The cheerfulness is back in my heart. The smile is back in my eyes. This is the price for taking charge!
I greeted the first day of August with a pair of red Nine West stiletto boots. I strut my way to work, not minding the surprised look on some people's eyes.
"These boots are made for walking...
That's just what they'll do.
One of these days, these boots are gonna
walk all over you!"
-Hahahaha!
It's a promising month! I'm anticipating a lot of beautiful things to come my way. Nothing and no one can destroy my festive mood. Make way or else my boots are going to run all over you! Nyahahahaha!

Hi, Phoebe! Thanks for the nice suggestion. I haven't thought of that. There, I already posted two of the photos taken last August 1st. Just don't mind the black rings around my eyes. I lacked sleep that day. It was my hubby's first day in his new job kaya I was excited and haven't slept well the night before. ^-^
Thanks to Yani, my photographer/shoot director for the wonderful photographs.
oh ella, i guess we have the same wavelength! i welcomed the first day of august with positive outlook in life. i laughed aloud with my friends here at work. i cared less when those who hate me (for telling the truth) started throwing shits on me. am not affected anymore! so august seems to be a promising month. july was so stressful especially when you fight for something you wanted a change in. well, at least despite those july storms still we managed to stand up and move on. i hope august will be filled with positive ions all throughout.
p.s. i love your photos... you look great in red boots hehehehehe.
that's good to hear, ate. what i learned lately about finding happiness is letting go of the worthless things and people in our lives. let go of those chains to save the more important ties... july had indeed been stormy. i just picked myself up, dust myself off and walked again like nothing happened. but of course, i also picked the lessons that i learned from those hardships.
ps: i'm glad you like my photos. my shoot director (a colleague) and i had a hard time finding the right angles. hehehe!
